Hello all fishos, campers yachties and funloving people especially people who would rather fish than work.
Party on every Friday night with the band Seisia sunset band or sing your favourite song on the karaoke. Burgers available. Do all this and watch the sun set, sharing an ale and a chat with a friendly smiling local, but never smile at a crocodile.
Northern Peninsula Pirates Regatta
In anticipation of great craftmanship and fun a raft race will be hosted by The Fishing Club in September, 2010.
Racing under the power of wind, the currents of the sea or oar, the race will start at 2.30pm at Umagico beach and end at Seisia Fishing Club. The day is full of activities.
More details about the race, specs. for the rafts (unpowered craft and sea worthy), rules (yep there has to be some), and entry fees will be released in June 2010.

Monthly Fishing comp.weekend of the June 5 & 6, June 19 & 20 and July 17 & 18. Weigh in times 4pm to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. For further information see Arthur, Ben or Chris at the Club on Friday night.
Competition is hotting up as there is only 2 comp left.

A reminder to members that the Club is run basically on a volunteer basis. So if you have a good time remember that the bar staff and the BBQ staff have given their good time to serve you.
We will roster members on and will post same on this site and on the notice board at the club. Please check each time you are at the club. The elderley (You have to be older than the oldest person in the executive), members with illness (hangover not counted as an illness) and parents with young ones will be asked but forgiven if they can't make it.
So all you able bodied fishos check the board. You may meet the love of your life working at the bar or BBQ.
